CASTING NOTICE

DANCERS

NZO Dance Theatre is seeking highly physical, grounded dancers for an upcoming stage production. This role is movement-led and demands stamina, clarity, and full-bodied commitment. Dancers must be comfortable working in close proximity, executing stylized choreography, and sustaining presence throughout extended performance sequences.

This is not background movement. Dancers are central to the architecture of the work.

EXPERIENCE THAT TRANSLATES WELL

  • Contemporary / modern dance

  • Jazz-based concert work

  • Commercial dancers with strong technical grounding

  • Experience with theatrical or ensemble-driven performance

PROJECT DETAILS

  • Paid, non-union engagement (competitive pay)

  • Rehearsals and performances in Jackson, MS

  • Local submissions only

  • Callbacks by invitation only
